Lawn Maintenance
One of the mainstays of any outdoor space is the grass. Having a well-maintained lawn which is full, rich and at the right length can allow your lawn to not only look fantastic, but also make it functional too.
For sports fields, grass needs to be cut to an optimal length to ensure the sport can be played, whilst lawns in stately homes and manor houses should be short enough to allow entertainment like garden parties to take place.
During the summer months is when grass cutting will be most active, and when your grass will be most in use. There may also be areas of your lawn where you’ll want to keep it long and rewild the area with insects and wildlife. This can be taken into account with any grounds maintenance schedule.
In addition to grass cutting, lawn maintenance can include weeding, seeding, edging and feeding.
Tree Services
If your grounds contain trees, then they will need to be properly cared for and maintained. It’s recommended that you use an experienced and fully-insured tree surgeon who can assess your trees, identify any issues and treat any problems.
Regular tree care can include tree pruning and trimming, as well as tree removal, tree stump removal and high-access tree surgery. Tree surveys should also be carried out to assess any issues present, and would be able to spot tree diseases such as Ash dieback.
Hedge Cutting
Hedges are not only used to mark borders, but they can also be decorative too. Hedge pruning and shaping can be carried out to ensure that your hedges look beautiful, uniform and well-maintained throughout the year; especially if they’re evergreens. Any type and size of hedge can be tackled, from small shrubs all the way up to large border hedges.
